This new JEC Group publication, JEC Observer, written in collaboration with Estin & Co is the annual barometer of the composites industry, which provides a forecast growth up to 2026. This publication seeks to give an ample perspective and outlook of the industry for the next five years using graphs, key figures, market dynamics, and insights to illustrate the state of composites globally.

Even though the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic are still being felt, especially in the aeronautics industry, other sectors are faring much better. For instance, the wind energy, electronics and construction markets have experienced either little or no impact whatsoever. In the long term, the market indicators are looking strong since composite materials are inextricably linked to new applications driven by the progress made in sustainable development, such as electric vehicles, hydrogen production and storage, wind energy, water management, and rebar for new concrete materials.
